About Dr. Radin

Radin Skin Centre, located in the new Tecumseh Manning Medical Centre in Tecumseh, Ontario, is a state-of-the-art medical facility founded in 2012 by Daniel A. Radin, B.Sc., B.A., B.Ed., M.D., FRCPC (Dermatology), FAAD. He is one of the few dermatologists who is board-certified in both Canada and the United States, with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

To become a dermatologist, an individual must complete at least three years of university followed by four years of medical school and five years of dermatology study. Dr. Radin is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s medical school and completed his dermatology training in New York, Michigan, and Toronto. Today, as a prominent medical professional, he is a frequent guest on the Lynn Martin Show and has been featured in The Windsor Star and Windsor Life Magazine.

Dr. Radin is involved in specialized teaching and medical education, holding the title of Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario Department of Medicine, where he teaches dermatology to medical students. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association, the College of Physicians and Surgeon of Ontario, the Ontario Medical Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Essex County Medical Society.

One of a small group of specialists who are uniquely qualified to treat the skin, Dr. Radin extensively researches the latest procedures and technology before offering them to his patients and is the first person in Canada to have the Gentlemax Pro Laser, which is the most advanced laser hair removal system available. He also frequently attends scientific meetings to stay up to date on the most current knowledge, skills, and techniques related to skin health and beauty.

Dr. Radin brings his experience and specialized training to Radin Skin Centre to achieve excellence in cosmetic dermatology and skin rejuvenation.

Radin Skin Centre is also a “green” office, dedicated to earth-friendly practices whenever possible, such as the use of electronic records. To ensure patient safety, Radin Skin Centre also uses proper sterilization techniques.

What is a dermatologist?

A dermatologist is a doctor who specializes in the medical and surgical aspects of caring for the skin. In Canada, dermatologists must undergo five or more years of rigorous training in order to become skin specialists. Canadian-trained dermatologists must pass the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada licensing exam that holds them to exceedingly high standards set by the medical profession.

Dermatologists are the only true skin experts. The use of BOTOX, dermal fillers, and lasers in the treatment of aging skin and other issues was pioneered by dermatologists. Dermatologists remain at the forefront of research in skin care and aesthetics. Trust only a highly trained specialist to care for your skin.
