Many people invest in expensive skin care and still do not see the results that they wish to. With so many innovative ingredients and formulations in the skin care industry you would think achieving great skin would not be so difficult. There are many factors to consider when trying to improve the health of your skin, what products to use, which procedures to have done, what to eat, and more. The key is to simplify and master one thing at a time.Radin Skin Care

The first and foremost factor to consider is cleansing the skin. Everyone should be washing their faces twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, prior to applying additional products. The most common mistake that we are making when it comes to washing the face is that we are not doing it for long enough. On average most people wash their faces for less than 10 seconds. Your face may feel clean after this, however it is not sufficient to remove all make up, oil, and everything else that lands on our skin throughout the day and night. Everyone should be washing their face for ATLEAST 30 seconds, preferable 45-60 seconds. This allows your cleanser to do its job, remove everything that it should and to deliver whatever active ingredients it may contain into your skin. Starting with a perfectly washed face allows your other products, such as toners, moisturizers, serums, and SPF to penetrate deeper into the skin and work much more efficiently.  You will feel your products absorb and notice a difference in the way your skin feels afterward. If you are going to pay for high end skin care you should certainly allow it to do the very best job that it can, in other words get the best bang for your buck.

There are two other important benefits to washing the face properly; exfoliation and circulation. When you use your fingers to wash your face you are loosening and washing away dead skin cells. Exfoliation allows new and healthy skin cells to produce and come to the surface of the skin. This can be enhanced by using a face wash with exfoliating beads or using a face scrub 1-3 times a week. It is important to use a medical grade exfoliant so as not to damage the skin. When we wash our face for a sufficient period of time every morning and night we actually massage the facial tissue, increasing circulation, allowing better blood flow throughout the facial tissue. Increased circulation allows nutrients to reach the face and results in healthier skin cells.

So there you have it. Once simple thing we can do improve the health and appearance of the skin. Experience the difference of taking the time to properly cleanse your skin. Your face will thank you.
